Mr Flash - Monsieur Sexe

Mr Flash, real name Gilles Bousquet, was named after Flash Gordon and released this limited edition digipack cd on Ed Banger Records in 2005 in a run of 1000 units.

With the catalogue number of EDCD001 this is already a rarity.

I just picked up the CD on ebay for cheap cheap cheap.

So in celebration here it is for your audio pleasure.

James Drake - Bombé & Mr. Caribbean

Did they pick Drake and James Blake because their names rhymed or because they already have a similar sound?

Bombé & Mr. Caribbean two producers from Philadelphia (who to be honest about I haven't really heard before) just dropped this moody mixtape. A brilliantly conceived blend/mash-up/mix - call it what you like.....

A mixtape that according to Mr Caribbean is “… a soundtrack for sippin Robitussun & Alize in an abandoned cathedral, covered in a velvet blanket with a sexy stranger on a dark night…”
