Game of Thrones

I went round my friends house the other day and he was going on and on about this. Luckily I had recorded the whole series on my HD box. So I started watching it. I was pleasantly suprised. A bit of a sci-fi feel to one of the story-lines and some memorable characters. highly Recommended!!

The Wire

THE WIRE is a television show that I loved I just never got round to watching the fifth and final series. That time has now come. All movies are off the television this weekend and I shall put all possible available waking time into watching these final episodes.

Spent hours yesterday watching the Grand Prix on the television. Guess what? Just before the second restart I had to go out! It was alright though because when I got in I just pressed that red button!
Well done Jenson. And I thought Vettel was really gentlemanly at the end of the race!

I was looking for a beach house album of chilled grooves a little bit different and definitely not POP. Something that can hold your attention or if you wanted, you could just pass out and go to sleep listening to! I think after a few cocktails when I'm lounging on my sun bed I could definitely listen to Art Departments The Drawing Board .

Described by the BBC as "a house purists wet dream". I'm not too sure of that... Do androids dream of electric sheep?

I was genuinely suprised to see Terry Gilliam's "BRAZIL" on the BBC last night. It was on kinda late and I fell asleep half way through. Luckily it's on the iplayer though... here is the link

After watching Dr Parnassus the other night I have now purchased a the blue-ray of Twelve Monkeys which I will watch after watching Brazil.
I started watching Brazil and was pleasantly suprised at the similarities between the movie and my favorite novel the Orwellian masterpiece that is 1984.

The problem with sleep is that if you do not get any then everything just feels surreal. Luckily I slept like a baby last night. My cure...Joy Division/New Order "Total"
